How We Met
Brandon and Kim met in the fall of 2016 while they were both attending the University of Florida. Brandon would say they first met via mutual friends in October, but Kim believes their first official meeting was at a Florida Gators tailgate in November.
While dating, they realized that everything was better together. Brandon and Kim discovered a mutual love of books, Florida football, and travel (they have visited eight countries together so far). Their relationship stayed strong over three years of long distance between Athens, Georgia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as Kim finished law school and Brandon started his career as an aerospace engineer. In 2022, Brandon and Kim moved back to Florida and Brandon convinced Kim, a self-declared dog person, to adopt two cats, and foster many others on behalf of two local rescues.
After six years together, Brandon proposed in Annecy, France, where Kim said "Yes!"
